Russian President Putin Offers Pakistan 'Blank Cheque'
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on his visit to Pakistan after a gap of nine years, reportedly told the country's leadership that President Vladimir Putin is ready for full cooperation with Pakistan. Express Tribune reported that a senior government official said that the Russian president offered Pakistan a 'blank cheque'.
The official, who requested anonymity, said that the Russian FM delivered his president's message to the government of Pakistan that Russia is ready to do whatever Pakistan needs, whether its gas pipelines, defence or any other form of cooperation.

Moreover, Pakistan is said to be expecting Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to the country that would further open avenues for cooperation between the two countries that were once foes.
