Justice Qazi Faez Isa has said that former chief justice Justice (r) Asif Saeed Khosa conspired against him and stabbed him in the back. He expressed these while presenting his arguments in the Supreme Court during the hearing of review petitions filed by him.
He said that the members of Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) acted with dishonesty and he was not allowed to defend himself against the allegations.
Justice Isa further said that President Arif Alvi did not have the courtesy to answer the three letters he wrote to him following the presidential reference filed against him. "A media trial was launched and I was maligned," he told the apex court.
He further said that Frogh Naseem levelled baseless allegations against him and his wife.
He also recited a couplet during his arguments
غم عشق لے کر جائیں کہاں آنسووں کی یہاں قیمت نہیں ۔
