Govt Considering Imposing Curfew In Lahore As Covid Cases Continue To Surge
Lahore’s administration has indicated that the government may have to impose a curfew in the city if Covid cases continue to surge. Talking to media, Lahore Commissioner said that one of the options that the district administration is considering in case the situation worsens is imposition of a curfew in Lahore.
The commissioner further said that the notification for the closure of markets was issued after 6pm, adding that joint teams hold a flag march in the city to ensure implementation of times restrictions and SOP compliance. He added that Covid cases in the city were increasing every day and the health system has been exhausted. He urged the public to follow Covid SOPs at all times to help check the spread of the deadly virus.
