PTI Members Ready To Ditch Party For PDM Ticket, Claims Mustafa Nawaz
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar has claimed that PTI memebers are ready to ditch the party if they were given a PDM election ticket.
Khokhar also thanked President Arif Alvi for acknowledging that PTI no longer holds the majority in Parliament.
Khokhar in a statement said, “It does not matter how much the prime minister tries to please his members, the winds of change have blown.”
He added that a vote of confidence can only be called by the president when he believes the premier has lost majority. However, the opposition also has the right to introduce a no-confidence motion at any time after a vote of confidence.
“The constitution does not prohibit a no-confidence motion for six months,” Khokhar said.
