Policy Shift: PM Imran Likely To Reshuffle Cabinet To Appease Opposition
Prime Minister Imran Khan has reportedly asked his ministers to be less aggressive in their statements and instead talk about the performance of the government.
This policy shift is the result of victory of the government candidates in Senate chairman and deputy chairman election and the opposition’s decision to postpone its long march, Express Tribune reported.
It was further reported that the federal cabinet may soon be reshuffled and some special assistants and advisers of the PM will be changed to appease the opposition. Further, the PM has also reportedly asked Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid to refrain from making harsh statements against Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). The PM has told Sheikh Rashid to work towards improving the government’s media strategy.
