PM Imran To Seek Vote Of Confidence After Senate Defeat
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he will request a vote of confidence from the parliament after the ruling PTI's defeat in the Senate election from Islamabad. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi made the announcement on Wednesday while addressing a press conference following the upset in Senate.

The foreign minister said that it needed to be clarified who stood where after today's development, adding that those who do not want to stand with Imran Khan are free to join PPP or PML-N.

Several PTI ministers including Asad Umar, Shireen Mazari, Shafqat Mehmood and Fawad Chaudhry joined the foreign minister as he presented the government's view on its defeat in the election today.
