PM Imran Actively Trying To Win Over Disgruntled Party Members Ahead Of Senate Polls
Top governments officials, opposition party leaders and even Prime Minister Imran Khan have decried to spend the remaining days in the federal capital to garner support for the Senate election which is now two days away.

The PM has decided to hold meetings in the Parliament with members of his party and other resentful coalition partners. In the next three days, the premier will be spending time in the capital and garner support as the competition in Senate Elections for upper house is going to be tough.

PM Imran Khan will reportedly be holding meetings with PTI MNA’s that have expressed disappointment with the party policies. Express Tribune reported, “Due to frequent meetings with lawmakers, the weekly cabinet meeting [on Tuesday] is likely to be postponed.”

Khan is also likely to hold meetings with members of South Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and other provinces.

After the horse-trading incident, everyone including the prime minister, PTI leaders and federal ministers have all been arranging dinners luncheon programmes in honour of the lawmakers to woo them. At these PTI luncheons, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has not been in attendance.
