A 66-year-old Pakistani immigrant working as a driver for a food delivery service was killed by two teenage American girls in Washington, DC. The incident was captured by a bystander and the harrowing video has been doing the rounds on social media.
The slain man was identified as Muhammad Anwar. According to the police, the girls were armed with a taser and they sped off in his car. He was fatally injured in the attack and succumbed to his injuries moments later.
The accused have not been identified by the police. The slain driver was remembered in a GoFundMe post as “a hard-working Pakistani immigrant who came to the United States to create a better life for him and his family.”
