Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry along with Federal Information Minister Shibli Faraz and Senator-elect Barrister Ali Zafar at a press conference expressed their displeasure over Election Commission of Pakistan's (ECP) response to PM Imran Khan’s statement over the Senatpolls.
They said they did not “like” the electoral body’s press release. Fawad Chaudhry said that PTI respects the Election Commission and all the institutions of Pakistan. He also clarified the rumours about PTI protesting in front of the ECP tomorrow, calling them “fake.”
ECP earlier today released a statement saying that they will not be pressured to please some individuals and they have not violated any constitutional rules while conducting Senate Elections.
PM Imran had earlier said that massive corruption took place during the Senate election.
