Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is reported to have said once while he was in Ziarat that it was his mistake to have created Pakistan. He always wanted a confederation and keep United India together. Jaswant Singh in his book holds Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Sardar Patel responsible for the partition.
