Cleric Tariq Jamil is reportedly starting his own clothing brand of shalwar kameez and kurtas.
Samaa News reported that a spokesman has confirmed the news however the date of launch has not yet been disclosed.
On the brands official LinkedIn page, it reads that MTJ- Tariq Jamil “is a fashion retail brand that strives to learn and exhibit the principles taught by Maulana and break the eroding stereotype.” The LinkedIn profile also has some job vacancies available.
Bilal Akram is named the Director of Operations at MTJ. He previously was the Head of South at Junaid Jamshaid’s fashion brand.
The website for Tariq Jamil’s brand at the moment says “coming soon”.
