Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has issued a notice the management of TV One over the drama ‘Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahin’, saying that it includes ‘inappropriate content’.
TV One, where the drama is being aired, has been given five days to review the content of the drama and report back to PEMRA.
Last year too, PEMRA had issued notices against airing and repeat telecasts of dramas.
Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahin issues such as plight of sex workers and child abuse. The cast includes Yumna Zaidi, Wahaj Ali, Yasra Rizvi, Nadia Afgan, Omair Rana and Samiya Mumtaz.
