Federal Ombudsperson for Harassment of Women at Workplace, Kashmala Tariq and her son’s vehicles reportedly crushed four people in an accident in G-11 Islamabad on Srinagar Highway. Two others were injured in the accident.
Kashmala’s son, Azlan, has been nominated in the FIR against the traffic accident registered by the Ramna police station. Police registered the case after one of the survivors of the accident told them that four of his friends had died in the accident. The FIR notes that a white jeep, bearing an official number plate WY077 killed four young men in Mehran and injured a motorcyclist.
Geo News reported that Kashmala Tariq’s husband, Waqas Khan was also present on the occasion and he along with the driver have been taken into police custody.
The victims had come all the way from Manshera to take ANF test. The investigation is ongoing and police officials said that action will be taken against the perpetrators.
