In the case pertaining to road accident which killed four young men, the driver of Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women Kashmala Tariq has been arrested while her son who was also nominated in the FIR was granted bail.
Azlan, Kashmala’s son, was granted bail before arrest by an additional sessions court headed by Judge Mohammad Sohail.
Speaking to the press Kashmala Tariq revealed that her son was not driving the car. She and her husband were in the car that hit the Mehran with the four young men in it.
She maintained that her son was in another car which was being driven by another driver.
“The accident was a result of the negligence of the drivers of both vehicles but the media started trial of my family. My son remained in the spot till 12 midnight,” she further said.
