Rawalpindi Couple Gets Death Sentence For Raping, Filming Minor Girls
A couple from Rawalpindi who was arrested in 2019 for luring girls and filming their rape to blackmail them have been convicted and handed death sentence by a local court.

Qasim Jahangir was sentenced to death by Additional District and Sessions Judge Jahangir Gondol. He has also been given a life imprisonment sentence along with having been charged with a fine of Rs 2.5 million. Qasim’s wife, Kiran Mahmood is also sentenced to lifetime imprisonment and has to pay a fine.

After their initial arrest back in 2019 the couple had confessed to raping as many as 45 minors and filming their rape.

The police in their investigation found videos of 10 minor girls and thousands of nude photographs. The couple used to sell the videos and photographs to pornography websites for money.
