Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked the Hazara community who have been protesting for the last four days to bury their loved ones and end the sit-in.
The heirs of the slain coal miners had vowed not to end the sit-in until the PM visits them.
In a tweet requesting the burial of the coal miners, Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote, “I share your pain and have come to you before also to stand with you in your time of suffering. I will never betray my people’s trust. Please bury your loved ones so their souls find peace.”
I share your pain & have come to you before also to stand with you in your time of suffering. I will come again very soon to offer prayers and condole with all the families personally. I will never betray my people's trust. Please bury your loved ones so their souls find peace.

Members of the Hazara community have staged a peaceful protest at a highway in Quetta with the bodies of slain coal miners since Sunday. The protestors demand that they will not withdraw until Prime Minister Imran Khan meets them and the killers are brought to justice.
In another tweet the premier assured that the government was taking steps to prevent such attacks in the future.
Earlier, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed visited the protestors and assured them of action against the perpetrators. However, the protestors refused to bury the dead until all their demands are accepted.
