PM Imran Says Indian Anchor’s Whatsapp Leak Confirmed Modi Used Balakot Crisis For Political Gains
In a series of tweets made earlier today, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he had already revealed in 2019 that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Modi government were using the Balakot incident to garner support for their party in the elections. The premier was referring to the leaked WhatsApp conversation between Indian anchor Arnab Goswami and the former CEO of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) where the anchor had predicted the Balakot strike days before it happened.

WhatsApp chats between Indian anchor Arnab Goswami and BARC chief executive Pratho Dasgupta were revealed to the public by police in the investigation against the two for the TRP scam.

However along with ample evidence proving their involvement in the scam, the chats also revealed that Goswami knew that the Balakot incident will take place.

The premier tweeted: “In 2019, I spoke at UNGA on how India’s fascist Modi govt used the Balakot crisis for domestic electoral gains. Latest revelations from communication of an Indian journalist, known for his warmongering, reveal the unholy nexus between the Modi govt & Indian media.”

"I want to reiterate that my government will continue to expose India's belligerent designs towards Pakistan and Modi government's fascism. Int(ernational) community must stop India from its reckless, militarist agenda before the Modi government's brinkmanship pushes our region into a conflict it cannot control." he added.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that India has stopped too low.
