Jemima Goldsmith’s Film To Feature Pakistani Actor Sajal Ahad Mir
TV producer and former wife of PM Imran Khan, Jemima Goldsmith, is producing a romantic comedy ‘Whats Love Got To Do With It’ featuring Pakistani actor Sajal Ahad Mir. Produced and written by Jemima Goldsmith and directed by Shekhar Kapoor, the film includes renowned actors from both Bollywood and Hollywood.

The news of Sajal’s casting in this star studded endeavour was confirmed by her agent.

The film is set to follow the lives of individuals from both London’s and South Asia and how they navigate cross-culture conflicts of love and marriage.

Shekhar Kapoor popularly known for Dil Se and Mr India is making his directorial return with this film. Talking to Variety he said that the film is a “story of identities.”

“It’s about cultural clashes and it’s a comedy, but it’s about hiding behind an identity and how identities can become tribal, and how tribalism can lead to clashes and fundamentalism. It’s a romcom, but based on this fundamental idea of people adopting identities out of fear of marginalisation.”
