PTI Official Account Tweets Childish Jibe At Indian Cricket Team, Later Deletes

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s official Twitter account tweeted a jibe at India over its cricket team’s poor performance in the ongoing match against Australia, but the tweet was later deleted after backlash. The ruling party’s account, in the tweet, implied that the performance of Indian cricket team is part of “many collapses” witnessed in the country. “Collapse of economy”, “collapse of journalism,” said the tweet.

After backlash, the tweet was deleted from the account. However, people had already taken screenshots and are now asking the handlers of the ruling party’s social media accounts not to act immature.

This tweet is disgusting and absurd. U guys should focus on your job in hands rather than criticizing others. As if our team is performing outstanding. If any random fan tweets it, I have no problem with it but such tweet from an official page of ruling party is pathetic!
