Misuse Of Blasphemy Law No Longer Happening In Pakistan, Claims Ashrafi
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Representatives on Religious Harmony Tahir Ashrafi has said that the misuse of the blasphemy laws no longer takes place in Pakistan.

He expressed these views in a conversation with visiting delegates of the Christian community on Sunday. Ashrafi claimed that no one was forcibly converted in the country in the last two months. He said that this improved situation was a result of joint efforts of clerics and lawyers and incidents involving misuse of the blasphemy laws have decreased.

Ashrafi was quoted by channels as saying that his office is currently acting as a special coordinator to resolve issues related to minorities rights.
Further, the adviser said that all segments of the society must contribute to a more peaceful Pakistan.
