Supreme Court (SC) judge Justice Qazi Faez Isa has said in his fresh review petition in the apex court that former Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa had asked him to resign and informally told him about the presidential reference to pressure him into stepping down.
“Ex CJP Khosa had earlier spoken to the petitioner on the walking track behind the Supreme Court’s Building for ‘informally’ telling petitioner about Reference was to secure resignation,” the judge wrote.
Further, Justice Isa has called on the SC to order the authorities to broadcast the hearings of the review petitions live. He also accused PM Imran Khan’s aides of owning properties abroad.
In a petition filed in the Supreme Court on Friday, Justice Isa reiterated that he did not possess any offshore properties in London but added that many senior members of the government owned foreign properties.
Any judge with dignity, honour, and integrity would resign from his post until he is cleared of serious misconduct. Instead of answering the allegations he hides behind his children and wife and accuses others of the same wrongdoing he is accused of. This judge is arrogant and thinks himself above the law.
I guess the only time most people think about injustice is when it happens to them.
The establishment can’t afford an independent minded judges and will make all efforts to keep judiciary act upon there whims and wishes
Stay strong Qazi sb.
