President Donald Trump has reportedly taken the lead over Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in the crucial battleground of Florida among other American swing states. Joe Biden, however, is hoping for Arizona and a ‘blue wall’ of three Rust Belt states to help him defeat Trump. These states may count their votes in days which means there is little hope for an early victory for Biden.
President Trump is currently leading in Florida, Georgia, Ohio and Texas. Trump’s win in Florida was predicted by several observers including Fox News.
Joe Biden, on the other hand, was relying on the “blue wall” states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania for giving him a breakthrough. These states had in 2016 sent Trump to the White House.
