Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has condemned the arrest of the party’s general secretary Imran Nazeer, terming it an attempt to stop the opposition’s jalsa in Lahore.
Maryam Nawaz wrote on Twitter that Nazeer’s arrest is a 'preemptive attack' before the PDM’s Lahore rally which is to be held on December 13.
"Make no mistake, this arrest is a preemptive attack before upcoming Lahore jalsa which they know will be the last nail in their coffin" Maryam Nawaz tweeted.

She also said that "no legal or political" option will be spared for the release of Nazeer.

It is pertinent to mention here that the eleven party opposition Alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will hold a rally in Lahore on 13th of December.
