Pakistan Says It Looks Forward To Working With Whoever Wins US Elections

Foreign office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez on Wednesday said that Pakistan looks forward to working with any of the two candidates who wins the US elections. The spokesperson also conveyed the best wishes of Pakistan to the people who voted in elections.

Zahid Hafeez expressed these views while talking to Arab News. He added that the polls were an internal matter of the US.

It may take some days to declare results in some states like Pennsylvania where Supreme Court allowed postal ballots to be accepted after the election night.

Earlier, President Donald Trump in the midnight speech said that he will go to the Supreme Court against “the very sad people who are trying to disenfranchise voters”. Trump also claimed that he is a 'clear victor' in the elections.

Joe Biden in his short address also claimed that he is winning the elections.
