Newly-Appointed SACM Firdos Ashiq Vows To Fight ‘Nefarious Campaign Against State Institutions’
Newly-appointed Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq met him at the CM office on Tuesday. While talking to Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, she condemned the ‘nefarious campaign’ against state institutions.

Dawn reported that the CM asked the SACM to ‘vigorously’ promote the positive image of the country envisioned by Prime Minister Imran Khan and publicise the public welfare initiatives undertaken by the PTI government.

CM Buzdar said that the performance of PTI government in its two years was better compared to that of past governments.
In a reference to Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)‘s public rallies, he mentioned a ‘slanderous campaign against institutions’ and termed it a conspiracy against the country but the government will protect the institutions from these threats.

He said that the opposition’s narrative against state institutions was found to fail.
Buzdar added that the government was trying to improve the lives of the people and facilitate them.
