Mob Vandalises Hindu Temple in Karachi
An ancient Hindu temple was vandalised by a mob in the Lyari area of Karachi on Monday. Pictures showing broken statue of Lord Ganesha have been doing the rounds on social media after the incident.
Human rights activist Kapil Dev wrote about the incident on Twitter.
Another day another #Hindu temple vandalized in Lee Market, Karachi by angry mob.
This is another day, our PM & CM will condemn this incident & reiterate minorities have equal rights.

The practice of attacking temples with the intention of vandalisation and/or desecration has increased in the last few years. In January, a similar incident was reported from Thar where the police arrested four minor boys for vandalising a temple and a First Information Report was registered against them under 295 C.
