Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)’s Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Yakoob Rajper was on Tuesday abducted from his office in Shikarpur, Sindh by unknown individuals.
Pakistan Today quoted a Sukkar regional tax office as saying that Rajper was abducted from the office of Deputy Commissioner Inland Revenue, Shikarpur.
LDC Noor Muhammad told that 4 men came to the office at 4pm and blocked the main entrance of the office.
They came in and introduced themselves as staff of Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO), and then sought to meet Rajper.
They were called in the office by Rajper after which they blocked the door to the office.
After 10 minutes, they took AC in his official car and drove away. The office staff tried to reach him through his phone, but he couldn’t be reached.
