Fact-Check: ARY Falsely Reports Mohsin Dawar Chanted Controversial Slogan At PDM Peshawar Rally
ARY News reported on Sunday that Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM)-linked MNA Mohsin Dawar chanted the slogan “All Afghans are one” at the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)’s maiden rally in Peshawar, when Dawar was not even present on the occasion.

Mohsin Dawar’s exclusion from the Peshawar rally had raised eyebrows and his supporters were criticising the PDM leadership for snubbing him.

However, ARY News began flashing tickers about Dawar having raised the controversial slogan of “All Afghans are one”, saying that it happened right in front of PDM leaders Maryam Nawaz and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Social media users then reacted to ARY’s false reporting and questioned its journalistic integrity.
