Police on Tuesday thwarted a terrorist attack on the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Police Station on Burki Road, Lahore.
CTD officials said that the suspects opened fire at the police station and attempted to break into the building. The policemen at the entrance killed the terrorists in retaliatory firing and managed to foil the attack.
The authorities have claimed to have recovered two hand grenades, a pistol and a suicide jacket from the suspects’ possession.
