Targeted killing of the Ahmadi community members in Peshawar has seen an increase in the past few months. Earlier in September, a 60-year-old Ahmadi shopkeeper was killed for his faith. The community representatives had noted that the ongoing violence against them is linked to hateful campaigns on social media.
