PM Directs PTI UK To Hold Protest Outside Nawaz's Residence To Disrupt His Address At Gujranwala Rally
Prime Minister Imran Khan has reportedly directed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) UK leader and Advisor Sahibzada Jahangir to arrange a protest demonstration outside the residence of Nawaz Sharif on Park Lane in London to disrupt his virtual speech at Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Gujranwala rally scheduled to be held tomorrow (Friday).

Sahibzada Jahangir confirmed to the media that he had been asked by the PM to hold protests outside Sharif's residence in London.

The Pakistan Daily quoted 'credible sources' within the PTI as saying that an amount of £10,000 has been distributed among PTI UK as well as Pakistan Patriotic Front workers for staging protests outside Nawaz Sharif’s son Hassan Nawaz’s office and Avenfield House to disrupt the former PM's speech to the Gujranwala jalsa.

“PM has directed me to organise a demonstration outside Nawaz Sharif house in London on Friday 16th Oct between 3pm – 6pm. This is the time NS will be addressing a Jalsa in Gujranwala," Sahibzada Jahangir said.
He also said that the protest would be shown live on TV channels in Pakistan.

“We will be standing in groups of 6 person. Police has given us permission to stand at distance in groups of 6," he wrote.

The Pakistan Daily further reported that Pakistan High Commission in London has also been pressured by PM Imran Khan to fully support the anti-Sharif protest, saying that it would be broadcast live on Pakistan Television (PTV).

Some officials of the High Commission initially resisted the use of state resources for political purposes, but Sahibzada Jahangir held a meeting with Pakistan High Commission and resolved the matter.
