Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM)-linked MNA Mohsin Dawar has been stopped from entering Quetta ahead of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) rally in the city. The district administration stopped him at the airport and did not allow him to leave the premises on the grounds of security threats.

A video gone viral on social media shows Dawar asking the authorities as to why the threats are a hurdle only for him.

This is the second time Dawar has been stopped in Quetta. In September, the lawmaker was stopped from entering the city and taken to a location outside Quetta by the authorities. He was in the city to participate in political activities and meet local supporters, but the authorities did not let him enter the city.

So Mohsin Dawar is the Security threat i.e. he is going to cause security issues- what nonsense! If he is in danger then provide him with security or your idea of providing security is to detain people indoors (homes, institutions, including prisons, airports, railway stations, etc). Please don’t try to fool the public with such foolish statements. A bit tacky but true, “ye jo public hey, yeh say janti hey”.
