FIRs against Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM)-linked MNAs Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar in Kharqamar check-post firing incident have been dismissed by the court due to lack of evidence.
On May 26, three people were killed and 15 others injured in a clash at a checkpost in Boyya during a PTM protest.
Following the incident, PTM leaders and MNAs Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar were arrested. The Pakistan Army claimed that the PTM members had attacked a check post, whereas the party members said that the forces opened fire during a peaceful protest.
