A young girl name Jan Bibi was allegedly killed in the name of ‘honour’ by her father, uncle and cousin in Loralai district of Balochistan.
According to police, the girl was killed at her home by her father Maulvi Abdullah and his accomplices on 1st October at Katve Camp Loralai. SHO Muhammad Sharif Musakhil has raided the house of Maulvi Abdullah as per intelligence based information and collected the required information.
SSP Sajad Haider Tareen, while addressing a press conference, said that the deceased was buried at the nearby graveyard. Session judge district Lorlai was notified for the action pertaining to exhumation of the victim. He added that a group of Civil Hospitals’ doctors including female staff and the Judicial Magistrate accompanied the police during the investigation process.
He added that an FIR has been registered under section 302 and three culprits have been arrested including her father. Other perpetrators will also be nabbed, he said.
The hospital authorities confirmed that the girl was tortured before being murdered.
