Former MNA Kashmala Tariq All Set To Tie The Knot
Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace and former parliamentarian Kashmala Tariq will tie the knot with businessman Waqas Khan on October 31. Waqas Khan is an Islamabad based businessman and owns the Best Western Hotel.
The News quotes sources as saying that the wedding ceremony will be kept simple and different. The couple has arranged Mehfil-e-Milad on October 29. It will be followed by a Qawali night on October 30t. October 31 will be their wedding reception day in Islamabad.
The friends and family of Kashmala Tariq have arranged a pre-wedding event Dholki in Lahore for the couple. They will travel to Islamabad after the Dholki.
People have taken to social media expressing good wishes to Kashmala and her husband-to-be.
Before assuming the position of Federal Ombudsperson for the Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace, Kashmala Tariq had been MNA from the year 2002-2013. She was selected on the reserved seats for women. She was appointed as Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace in February in 2018.
