Atif Mian Says IBA Karachi Cancelled His Lecture Due To Threats From Extremists
Economist Atif Mian has said that Institute of Business Administration (IBA) cancelled his virtual lecture on economy due to threats from extremists.

The lecture titled ‘Why has economic growth fallen behind in Pakistan?’ was scheduled to be held on November 5, 2020.
In a tweet from its official Twitter account, IBA Karachi announced the cancellation of the talk but did not clarify as to what led to it. “Inconvenience is highly regretted,” the tweet added.
Dr. Atif R. Mian’s lecture “Why has economic growth fallen behind in Pakistan?” scheduled on November 5, 2020 has been cancelled. Inconvenience is highly regretted.
