Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and CPEC Authority Chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa has issued a detailed statement in response to the news report about his wealth. The former DG ISPR has said that the allegations have been levelled to 'tarnish' his image.
Denying the claims made in the report, he said that on the date of filing the declaration of assets (which the report claimed was false), his wife was no longer a shareholder in any businesses of his brother 'or anyone else'.
