Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting and CPEC Authority Chairman Lt Gen (r) Asim Saleem Bajwa has ‘strongly rebutted’ a news report about the suspicious growth of his family business.

“A malicious propaganda story published on an unknown site, against me and my family, (just uploaded on social media)is strongly rebutted,” the former general wrote on Twitter.

According to a report published on website FactFocus, “The growth of the Bajwa family’s business empire in the United States and later in Pakistan directly matches the rise in power of retired general Asim Saleem Bajwa.”

The report claimed, “The Bajwa family’s companies spent an estimated $52.2 million to develop their businesses and $14.5 million to purchase properties in the United States, while Asim Bajwa and his department were encouraging Pakistanis to invest within their relatively undeveloped country. The businesses of the Bajwa family through different companies were named as Bajco Group.”

I think the #BajwaLeaks is the most significant news story to come out of Pakistan. Not that the corruption of generals was some secret but this story proves it with evidence and also establishes the impunity of the uniform from any due process or accountability. These generals are real enemy of poor Pakistanis .

Sir a simple rebuttal is not enough, challenge him in court. Also send him a defamation notice and provide us money trails. Only this will work better. And moral courage is to resign from both portfolios and answer every allegation.

The judiciary has a grudge against military generals so don,t go to judiciary..you should explain all the facts in a press conference.
