A 'mentally unstable' man has reportedly beheaded his mother in Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, over an alleged altercation.
According to police, Muhammad Khalil was torturing his nephew at Muzaffargarh Chak No. 528, when his mother went to rescue the kid. However, Khalil took the life of his mother and decapitated her body, reported a website GuruAlpha.
After the incident, Kot Addu police reached the spot and took the body of the slain woman in their custody and moved it to the hospital for medico-legal formalities. Furthermore, the police have arrested the accused and a murder weapon was also recovered from the crime scene.
The suspect has been shifted to the police station for further investigation.
