'Black Panther' Star Chadwick Boseman Passes Away At 43

Best known for playing Black Panther, US actor Chadwick Boseman, has died of cancer aged 43.The actor was diagnosed with colon cancer four years ago but had not made the information public


A statement posted on social media said, He died at home in Los Angeles with his wife and family by his side. Atrue fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and several more - all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther."

Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther was the first superhero film to get a nomination for best picture at the Oscars.The news of his death came as a shock to many as Boseman never discussed his diagnosis publicly.
