PTI MPA Glorifies Murderer Of Peshawar Man, Puts Up His Photo As Facebook Profile Picture
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Adil Haleem Sheikh endorsed the murder in a Peshawar courtroom over blasphemy charges by putting up the picture of the suspected shooter on his Facebook display.
Sheikh, a former member of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), is a vice president of PTI in Sindh and also holds the post of the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly.
Not only did he use the photo as his display, but the PTI leader also adorned the picture with a filter that seemed to show the shooter being showered with petals.
The suspect gunned down a man, an ex-Ahmadi, over blasphemy. The victim suffered from mental health problems and died on the spot from the bullet wounds.
The suspect, a reported graduate of a seminary, was arrested by the police. Speaking about the murder, he said Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came ‘to his dream and asked him to shoot this man’.
