Pakistan's Domestically Developed Drones Ready To Fight Locusts
Reports indicate that Pakistani engineers have designed drones to help farmers in coping with the invasion of locust swarms in the country. The drones will fight the insects by spraying insecticides and pesticides in agricultural fields.

These drones, designed by the National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) and made in Pakistan, will be supplied a low cost in markets around the country.

Pakistan is gearing up to fight against the country's worst locust invasion in 25 years, which has threatened entire harvests in agrarian regions – affecting some 60 districts by now.

A number of proposals are being considered to make use of the huge numbers of insects, including as chicken feed and for bio-compost.
