MNA Mohsin Dawar Receives Threatening Letter From Extremist Outfit
Member of National Assembly (MNA) and leader of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) Mohsin Dawar has received a life threatening letter from a North-Waziristan based extremist outfit Al-Furqan.

The PTM leader shared the photo of the letter on Twitter, saying: “Received this threat which is also being widely distributed. We've repeatedly warned government about terrorists regrouping, but no response. Meanwhile terror has returned to Pashtun soil likely with [the] state support.”

The MNA elected from North Waziristan added that his struggle against the terrorism and for Pashtun rights will continue, even “at the cost of his life”.

In its letter, the extremist organisation has warned Mohsin Dawar to refrain from certain activities, including building a church for the local Christians.

They further asked the MNA to be ‘careful’ while giving statements and don’t disagree with the members of Al-Furqan in ‘jirgas’ (local courts in Pashtun areas).
