Karachi Woman Admits To Killing Husband
A Karachi woman has admitted to killing her husband after his body was found at their house in Khairabad Yaro Goth.

Usman, 30, who was shot dead at his residence worked at a vegetable market. His body had been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

As per Manghopir police, the suspect, Begum Bakht, had initially pinned the murder on a stranger. "There was a man standing outside the window of the room, who shot my husband and fled from the spot," she had told the police.

However, when the police collected the evidence from the crime scene, they found a bullet shell inside the house. Upon this discovery, they interrogated Bakht, who confessed to the crime.

The police also later recovered the weapon used in the crime, which had been buried by the suspect in the veranda.

According to the police, Bakht claimed that Usman was a drug addict and also dealt in drugs at the market.

She claimed she had seen Usman hiding a pistol in the house a few days ago, upon which he had threatened to kill her. She told the police that she took the pistol on Saturday and shot Usman while he was sleeping.

The police handed over the body to Usman's family after the completion of medico-legal formalities
