Indian Military Shoots Dead Elderly Man In IoK, Take Away Minor Grandson

Indian military personnel on Wednesday shot dead an elderly citizen in Occupied Kashmir (IoK) and took away his three-year-old grandson.

According to news reports, the personnel stopped a vehicle being driven by a man in his 70s and gunned him down apparently after a small argument. Later, they drove away with the deceased's three-year old grandson. The men also photographed the child as he sat near his grandfather's body. Later, the filmed the boy as he cried inside a vehicle at the merciless killing.

Condemning the incident, Foreign Office spokesperson India is bent upon committing atrocities in the held valley. it condemned the use of brute force on unarmed and innocent citizens in held Kashmir.

The inhumane lockdown imposed by RSS-backed Narendra Modi-led fascist government in the valley on August 05, 2019, when it revoked the special status of the territory, has completed 330 days.

According to a report issued in May, Indian troops martyred 134 Kashmiris including four women. It said that at least 1,299 people were critically injured due to the use of brute force including firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells by Indian military, paramilitary and police personnel on peaceful demonstrators.

It had said that the Indian troops are committing grave human rights violations in the occupied territory to suppress the ’ ongoing struggle to secure the inalienable right to self-determination.
