Three Indian Soldiers Including Colonel Killed In Ladakh Clash With China
Amidst the continuous tensions between India and China, the Indian Army released an official statement claiming that the Chinese troops attacked its soldiers in Galwan Valley in Ladakh on Monday night, killing an Indian army colonel and two soldiers.

It was during a de-escalation process that the violent exchange between the two nations in the valley took place on Monday night. The statement also said that the senior military officials of the two sides are currently meeting at the venue to defuse the situation.

This is the first clash between India and China to have resulted in the violence of lost lives since 1975.

A Chinese publication called the Global Times also reported, "Based on what I know, Chinese side also suffered casualties in the Galwan Valley physical clash. I want to tell the Indian side, don't be arrogant and misread China's restraint as being weak. China doesn't want to have a clash with India, but we don't fear it," said Hu Xijin, Editor-in-Chief of Global Times.

AFP also reported that Beijing has accused the Indian army of crossing the border by a few meters and attacking Chinese personnel.
