Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had inaugurated the 200-bed field hospital in April. While addressing the inaugural ceremony, he said that the government had provided advanced anti-coronavirus medical healthcare facilities to patients at the field hospitals, established in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sialkot and other cities.

The chief minister during his visit to the field hospital, reviewed the anti-coronavirus health and medical facilities being provided there. “Special facilities has been provided to the duty staff and relatives of the coronavirus patients at the field hospital in Sialkot, and the patients can also avail themselves of the facility of telecommunication with their families through Skype as well,” he had said.

Now after less than two months, the facility was closed due to which the infected patients in Sialkot have been facing many problems in their fight against the pandemic.
