In Sindh, Coronavirus Recovery Rate Exceeds 50%
Sindh’s coronavirus recovery rate exceeded to 50% when 764 new patients were recovered successfully and discharged from the hospitals on Thursday.

The Chief Minister House released a statement, saying that the number of patients recovered so far has reached to 16,782 in the province. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, in the statement, said that the province recorded 20 more deaths and 1,667 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 575 and overall cases to 33,536.

The statement noted that the provincial mortality rate stood at 1.7%. “While 366 patients are in critical condition, of which 66 have been put on ventilators. At least 16,179 patients under treatment, out of which 14,910 are in home isolation, 99 at isolation centers, and 1,170 are in different hospitals," Shah said in a statement.

Meanwhile, talking about the new infections in Karachi, the CM said that 1,311 new cases were reported in the city. “312 new coronavirus cases were detected in district East, 271 in Korangi, 257 in South, 241 in West, 143 in Central, and 87 in Malir.”

The provincial chief executive urged  people of Sindh to be careful and adopt precautionary measures to defeat the pandemic.
