Turkish show Ertugrul's protagonist, Engin Altan Düzyatan, who plays Ertuğrul in the hit series, recorded a video of himself singing Pakistan's top patriotic song, Dil Dil Pakistan. It has been of little surprise to see how it has taken over the Pakistani social media, which has grown to be an ardent follower and fan of the Turkish series.

Dil Dil Pakistan is also known as the second national anthem of Pakistan and was released by the most famous band of the country, Vital Signs, in 1987.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Faisal Javed Khan revealed that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had gifted the drama series to Pakistan as a goodwill gesture.
The famous Turkish drama series Dirilis Ertugrul’s producer Mehmet Bozdag has also vowed to sign ‘world-shaking’ deals with Pakistan’s media industry in near future.
The producer, while talking to Turkish news outlet Anadolu Agency, wondered as to why Pakistan and Turkey haven’t worked together on projects so far. “I am surprised that we did not make any collaborations till this day because we call each other brother countries,” Bozdag told the news agency.
