Attendants Of Deceased Coronavirus Patients Attack Doctors In Rawalpindi
The attendants of a coronavirus patient, who had died during the treatment, attacked the doctors and paramedical staff who are fighting against the pandemic in Rawalpindi’s Benazir Bhutto Hospital on Sunday.

The doctors of the hospital were also accused of ‘killing’ the patient for the sake of money [donations]. President Punjab of Awami Workers Party (AWP), Ammar Rashid, posted the photos of the hospital after the incident. It can be seen in the photos that the premises and equipment of the hospital were vandalised.

He also posted a screenshot of Benazir Bhutto Hospital’s doctor’s status, in which she said: “Attendants abused doctors and female staff. They made videos of the doctors and threatened them.”

Following the death of a coronavirus patient, Karachi’s Civil Hospital was attacked by an enraged mob of 70 people on Friday night who were chanting slogans terming the coronavirus a ‘conspiracy’. The attackers chanted slogans against the doctors and paramedical staff over the death of a coronavirus patient.

According to the doctors of the Civil Hospital, the attackers had knives in their hands and were threatening to attack them. The protesters had said that the deaths of the patients were a ‘conspiracy’ hatched by the doctors and that there is no coronavirus in Pakistan.
